How To Make Use Of The Recall Feature In Outlook

Instructions

• In the computer, Microsoft Outlook will be installed and it has to be accessed.
• The Sent Messages folder can be seen and it requires to be accessed.
• The message that requires to be recalled has to be Double clicked. Another window with a ribbon that has additional options can be seen.
• In the Move section, the Actions option can be seen and it has to be selected.
• The option Delete Unread Copies Of This Message has to be clicked. If the message has been already read by the recipients, then you have no go, as the messages cannot be recalled and Outlook will warn you about this.
• If a typo has to be fixed or an attachment requires to be added, the Delete unread copies and replace with a new message option has to be selected. In the Edit mode, the message will be opened in another window and the mistakes can be edited with ease.
• The OK button has to be clicked and if the recall has been successful, it will be conveyed by Outlook. The status of the recall will be mentioned by Outlook if the checkbox corresponding to the Tell Me If Recall Succeeds Or Fails For Each Recipient is check marked.
• No trace of the message will be present in the recipient’s inbox if the recall is successful. If the recall is a failure, it will be conveyed to you by Outlook.
