Documents and messages are required to be printed in order to make them available for further use as a hard copy. Well if the correct print out is not obtained, the document or message will be of no use. In the File menu of Microsoft Outlook 2007, an option that majority of the users may have come across is the Print Preview option. To have a brief idea on how the document or message will look like, the Print Preview option should be selected. Sometimes while making use of the Print Preview option, crashes with the Microsoft Outlook can be seen. The issues with the print settings of Outlook causes the crashes to occur and it can be resolved easily by following the below mentioned guidelines.

- The Outlook 2007 should be exited if it is currently open. It is also advised to close any open web browsers.
- The taskbar can be seen at the bottom of the screen and towards its extreme left, the Start button can be seen. Click on it and the Start menu will be displayed. In the keyboard, a key with the Windows logo can be seen known by the name- Windows key. Tapping the key is another technique by which the Start menu can be accessed.
- Into the search field, Outlprnt should be typed and the Enter key should be tapped. The search results can be viewed and the Outlprnt file should be Right clicked and the Rename option should be clicked.
- At the last part of the file name, .old extension should be inputted and in order to save the changes made, the Enter key should be clicked.
- The Microsoft Outlook 2007 program should be opened again. A new Outlprnt file will be made by the software and the Print Preview option will work flawlessly.
- You can see that crashes no longer occur when the Print Preview option is used.
