How To Remove A Toolbar From Google Chrome

A toolbar is a kind of add-on for web browsers that helps you to have a quick access to the various services provided by the toolbar developer. Sometimes, users will find it irritating and want to remove it from Google Chrome. It can be uninstalled either through Control Panel or from the Chrome’s extension menu. From Windows XP
  • Click the Start button seen in the lower left corner of your screen and select the Control Panel option to open it. 
  • From the Control Panel window, select Add or Remove programs.
  • This will pop up a window showing all the programs installed in your computer. From the list, select the extension that you want to remove, followed by clicking the option labeled as Change/remove. 
  • Confirm the removal action by clicking the Yes option. 
  • Finally, restart the Google Chrome browser to make the changes to take effect. 
From Windows Vista
  • Start the process of removal by clicking the Start button that lies in bottom left corner of your Vista screen and click the Control Panel option. 
  • Next, select the option named Uninstall a program seen under the option Programs. 
  • Spot the name of the extension that you want to remove and double click it. 
  • Now, click the option labeled Continue to start the removal action.  
  • When prompted, click the Yes button to confirm the removal action.
  • At last, restart your Google Chrome browser.
From Windows 7
  • Navigate to the Start menu of your Windows 7 OS and click the Control Panel option. 
  • From there, select the option labeled as Programs and Features.
  • Select the name of the extension that you want to remove by double clicking it.
  • When prompted, click the option named Yes to confirm the removal action. 
  • Restart the Google Chrome browser.
From Windows 8
  • From the right edge of your Windows 8 screen, swipe in and click the option labeled Search. 
  • In the search box, enter Uninstall, followed by clicking the category named Settings seen below the search box.
  • From the list seen in the left side of the screen, click the option labeled Uninstall a program. 
  • This will open up the Programs and Features dialog box and you need to select the name of the extension that you want to remove.
  • Finally, click the Uninstall option and restart your Chrome browser.
